Babies: 0 Months – 2 Years
The Lively lamb’s room has been specially designed to cater for the children aged from 3 months to 2 years, but can be adapted for newborn babies and up to 2½ year olds.
Bo-Peeps lively lambs room contains a separate milk kitchen, air conditioned sleep room, nappy changing area, low level children’s toilet cubical and an open plan play area. Bo-Peeps staff aim to make it as easy as possible for parents/carers to leave their children in the care of the nursery practitioners and understand the busy lives of parents/carers, so form effective communication links with them to ensure smooth transition.

The nursery has a full time cook who provides all their meals whilst they are at Bo-Peeps, including puréed and mashed food when required, to support the parents/carers when weaning their child. The children have a key person at the setting who will advise the cook of any dietary changes or requirements for the individual children.
Baby room follow the Early Years Foundation stage to plan the layout of their room, their activities, when completing observations for each child and their summatives. When carrying out their planning, baby room also use the interests and next steps of each child. Baby room adapt their planning each day to suit all age ranges and developments to make sure all children feel included in the room.
